Holiday Cooking 101 from Woodinville’s Best

‘Tis the season to be jolly—and in true Santa form, maybe gain 10 pounds! It’s ok though because I think we all know that feasting on all of our favorite holiday treats is worth the extra winter padding. When it comes to the holidays, it’s time to let loose and divulge in all things delicious, and that’s why we’ve highlighted some upcoming culinary oriented festivities that are happening around Woodinville in the coming months.

Wine and Onesies

Do you want to go out, but find it hard getting out of your pajamas? On December 7th, you don’t have to! That’s because 20 Corners Brewing is holding their 3rd Annual Wine and Onesies Soiree! This festive party encourages you to throw on your most comfortable digs and participate in fun, brewery-inspired games as well as compete for a chance to win amazing Seahawks tickets in their epic cornhole tournament. If beer, games, and sleepwear sound like a satisfying weekend, be sure to mark this one on your calendar.

The Art of Chocolate Making

There’s nothing like indulging in a bite of rich chocolate to satisfy your sweet tooth. It’s decadent, full of flavor, and in its darkest form stimulates the production of endorphins, putting you in a euphoric mood! What better way to indulge in this delicious treat than by taking a chocolate-making class? At 21 Acres Center for Local Food & Sustainable Living in Woodinville, they offer various classes that focus on sustainable living for the conscious consumer. Book their Bean-to-Bar Chocolate-Making Class on November 14th, and you can discover the ins and outs of this age-old craft. Learn to roast cacao beans and separate the nibs from shells. Then, grind, temper, and mold them into robust chocolate! You will also get to taste different types of chocolate and perfect your confectionary palette in the process.  Sounds like a great way to pass the time to us!
