Beer, Live Music, and Philanthropy Unite at this Texas Craft Beer & Spirits Festival

Nothing unites people better than a festival filled with beer and good spirits! Saturday, February 29th, marks the launch of the First Annual Delta Allen Craft Beer & Spirits Festival in Allen, Texas. The best part? Proceeds will go towards Big Brothers Big Sisters Lone Star – Greater Dallas, a philanthropic organization that connects children with mentors in their area. That means you’ll get to try the best beer from around the region and contribute to helping build a brighter future for Texas’ generation of youth at the same time. We’ll cheers to that!

The Festival Low Down

The Delta Allen Craft Beer & Spirits Festival offers everything you would want from a Texas festival, including beer tasting, live music, spunky spirits, local vendors, and scrumptious food. This is the time to let loose, taste some of Texas’ finest drinks, dig into some sizzling barbecue, and try out your dancing shoes.

With plenty of beers to choose from, make sure you make a list of your top picks so you don’t miss out on any in the shuffle. Taste beer that oozes with Texas pride at Nine Band Brewing, who boasts names like 28th State Stout and Cactus Cat Kolsch. Get a sip of unusual flavors at Tupps Brewery, with their Cotton Candy Shandy and Fruited Juice Pack Pale Ale. Then top things off with some spirits like Ghost Tequila and Bayou Rum.

Don’t forget to get a good foundation in your belly! Executive Chef Bryan Patton will be dishing up his signature dishes at various food stations, including BBQ brisket sliders, fried cheese curds, and pickle fried chicken! Or, you could always opt-in for a giant pretzel necklace to satisfy your snack cravings.

Can’t wait for the big day? Tickets for the event start at $40 for general admission and $50 for VIP admission, both of which include a commemorative tasting glass. Don’t delay, as tickets increase by $24 on the last day (unless you’re a Designated Driver). Click here to get more details about the event, including how to get your tickets.

This organization has served the Greater Dallas community for over 90 years. The work done through this mentorship program is priceless to the kids it inspires, and provides a way for the community to positively impact new generations.
