Harvest at Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort and Spa

Vibrant red, orange and yellow leaves color the Great Smoky Mountains during autumn and surround Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort and Spa. During the fall season, resort guests with Dollywood tickets can enjoy Dollywood’s Harvest Festival presented by Humana® which includes the award-winning Great Pumpkin LumiNights and Southern Gospel Jubilee.  After a fun-filled day at the park, guests can relax and take part in resort’s fall-themed offers and experiences.

Thousands of illuminated jack-o-lanterns light the way through Timber Canyon, Wilderness Pass, Upper Craftsman’s Valley, and this year, Wildwood Grove, during Great Pumpkin LumiNights. The guest favorite features a number of whimsical pumpkin displays, like the pumpkin spider, the pumpkin dance party and the pumpkin guitar.

The Plaza at Wilderness Pass serves as a centerpiece for the event with an area for character interaction, additional displays—and the focal point—a 40 ft. tall expertly-carved pumpkin tree. With the addition of Great Pumpkin LumiNights to the Harvest Festival in 2017, a number of families created new traditions and memories they’ll share forever. This year, our Guests will have the opportunity to create even more special memories during Great Pumpkin LumiNights in Wildwood Grove. The Wildwood Tree comes to life each night with a harvest story just for Guests exploring the grove this fall.

While Great Pumpkin LumiNights lights up Dollywood each evening, the biggest names in Southern gospel music lift their voices each day as part of the Southern Gospel Jubilee.  Guests can experience more than 600 individual Southern gospel performances on stages throughout the park during the run of the festival. It’s the largest Southern gospel event in America!

Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort and Spa offers a number of fall-festivities to compliment Dollywood’s Harvest Festival.  The Spa at Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort invites guests to relax and unwind with one its Scents of the Season treatments. These customizable treatments are infused with pumpkin, nutmeg, cinnamon and other fall-favorites.

During the day, Camp DW is a spot for children and parents to play and create together. Families can create their own fall fun with autumn-themed arts and crafts.  At night, families gather around the fire place for a bed time story. The books read are all a part of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. Guests also can roast marshmallows and make s’mores each night around the fire pit. Camp DW also offers warm apple cider in the lobby during late afternoon hours.

While the Swimming Hole, the resort’s outdoor pool may be closed for the season, guests can still take a swim in the Garden House. The beautiful indoor pool complex’s picture windows offer majestic mountain views that are perfect for taking in the vivid fall colors.

In Song & Hearth: A Southern Eatery, the resort’s farmhouse-style restaurant, guests feast on warm, Southern comfort foods. Guest-favorites including fried chicken, pot roast and mashed potatoes are sure to warm and fill bellies on a crisp fall day.
