Brews & Beats: Lake Tahoe Promises Live Music Every Day at This Local Taproom

In the summertime, Lake Tahoe turns into an “it” scene for outdoor live music. Not only do they hold a huge outdoor Summer Concert Series, but they have smaller events that offer free entertainment throughout the lake every day. If you’re a local to the area or just in town visiting, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to take advantage of the live music that’s on tap this season.

The Big Kahuna

Hitting center stage from June 14th to September 13th are some of the biggest country music and rock bands from Black Shelton and Miranda Lambert to the Dave Matthews Band and Duran Duran. For four months, the parking lot at Harveys Lake Tahoe is transformed into an outdoor arena that seats 4,000 people! With the lake as your backdrop, soak in the songs of your favorite artists and appreciate the natural beauty of your surroundings.

Music on the Beach

If you like a more intimate setting, check out Live at Lakeview Summer Music Series, which offers free live concerts every Thursday night until August 29th. The lineup features a wide range of musical stylings including New Orleans Funk, Reggae, World Beat, and Electronic Funk. Not only will you get to jam out to some unique tunes, but there will also be a variety of artists, merchants, and food to peruse. The series also hosts a beer garden which proceeds go to support South Tahoe BMX Association.

Brews and Beats

Beer and music seem to go hand in hand. Whether it’s the music that makes the beer taste better or the beer that makes the music sound better – one thing we know is that they make a great duo. The folks at Lake Tahoe AleWoX agree, and that’s why they promote #Goodvibesonly during their AleWorX Summer Music Series. The most amazing part? They will be hosting live performances every evening and all day long every weekend until Labor Day!

Home Away from Home

You’ll want a good place to rest after a long day of musical festivities. At Forest Suites Resort, you’ll be right next to Heavenly Village, making it easy to head back to your suite for a quick power nap between sets. When you’re ready to wind down, lounge by the pool, have a drink by their fire pit and watch an outdoor movie on their lawn during summer movie nights.
