Here’s What’s Cooking at The Chattanoogan Hotel for the Holidays

The Chattanoogan is the most luxurious hotel in the southern Tennessee city of Chattanooga, located within walking distance to all of the museums, galleries, retail stores, restaurants and The Tennessee Aquarium. The 4-diamond property just announced its holiday happenings for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s celebrations, and Yum!, there’s nothing like a good ol’ Southern feast with friends and family to warm your heart and belly in wintertime.

Here’s a look at the special events schedule, and make sure you reserve your spot at the table early!

Breakfast With Santa | Saturday, Nov. 29 | 9 – 11 am

We seriously do not remember having breakfast with Santa, ever, but in Tennessee it’s a thing. Bring the kids for The Chattanoogan’s Breakfast with Santa when children can tell the man in red how good they’ve been all year, while enjoying a delicious breakfast and carolers performing holiday tunes.

This isn’t any little kind of continental breakfast, either. It’s going to have freshly baked pastries, muffins, scones, hash brown casseroles, applewood smoked bacon and French toast. Tickets are $21.95 for adults; $10.95 for children 6-12, and children under six are free. Reservations are required.

Santa will also be making regular appearances at The Chattanoogan’s Sunday Champagne Brunch each week, running November 30 until before Christmas.

NEW: Caroling | Saturdays: 3 – 6 pm | Sundays: 1 – 4 pm

A new tradition for the season kicks off on Sunday afternoon  at the end of the month with Christmas carolers serenading guests in the hotel’s grand lobby. The local musicians will perform on Saturday and Sunday afternoons leading up to Christmas. There’s also going to be a hot chocolate bar and gingerbread cookies while guests learn about cookie decorating.

Christmas Day Dinner | Thursday, Dec. 25 | 12 – 5 pm

Hosted inside the hotel’s ballroom, The Chattanoogan’s Christmas Day Dinner includes such mouthwatering classics as roasted garlic Dijon prime rib of beef, a herb-rubbed pork steamship and roasted baby potatoes.
